While you’re here, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Victoria, I am a dog mom of 2 living in Upstate New York. I absolutely love where I live and all the unique and delicious food it has to offer. I know everyone thinks of the big city when they think of New York, but I’m here to help put the rest of the state on everyone’s radar. Many of the recipes found on this page are New York classics from Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse with my own personal spin to them! Cooking has always been my passion, and making food for others is definitely my love language. There’s something so fulfilling when I see my family and friends enjoy a meal I just created. Since I am normally just cooking for two (and the dogs) a lot of the recipes found here are for 2 people that can be easily doubled for a family as well! The name Just Keep Stirring is a metaphor for all the ups and downs in life. Just like a good soup, or sauce, it takes time and energy to make it into what you want. Even if at times, it doesn’t seem like it’s working, just keep on stirring and trust that eventually you will get to where you need and it will all work out and be perfect in the end.
